Since 1978, the USC Emeriti Center has proudly served the university's retirement community. In partnership with the USC Retired Faculty Association (RFA) and the USC Staff Retirement Association (SRA), we promote healthy living and purposeful lives by sharing vital information, resources, services, advocacy, and privileges with our retired faculty and staff. The Emeriti Center is the home base in retirement for all USC retirees, offering ongoing support and engagement. We are a caring and involved community, staying  informed and connected through a weekly newsletter and a variety of curated events. Our programs evolve each year to meet the changing needs and interests of the USC retiree community, the Trojan Family, and our local neighbors.

Retired Faculty Association: Established in 1949, the RFA promotes wellbeing, advocates for retirement benefits, and provides opportunities to enjoy intellectual, cultural, and social activities. The RFA hosts Distinguished Lectures, Intellectual Journeys, and Destinations (an armchair travel group) as well as traveling abroad, hosts the annual Provost Retirement Luncheon and supports USC undergraduates from USC neighborhood high schools through the Caldwell Scholarship Program. The RFA encourages participation in university committees and continued involvement in the academic arena. The RFA is a bridge to new friends and adventures in retirement.

The RFA creates connection with retired faculty, staff and their spouses; supports current faculty as they transition in to retirement; creates educational connection through intellectual pursuits post retirement and expands new areas of interest both through education and travel. The RFA hosts Distinguished Lectures, Intellectual Journeys, and Destinations (an armchair travel group). They also plan travel excursions, host the annual Provost Retirement Celebration and support USC undergraduate students from neighborhood high schools through the Caldwell Scholarship Program.

Staff Retirement Association: Established in 1986, the SRA offers social, educational, and entertaining programs to bring members together and strengthen their lifelong relationships with each other and USC. The SRA also hosts two casual brunch programs, an annual Staff Retirement Luncheon, a Holiday Breakfast, and day trips throughout the year. All USC faculty and staff are welcome to join before and in retirement. The SRA focuses on enjoyment, enrichment and fun. All are welcome.

Our motto, Colleagues for Life! The Trojan Family continues…..

Support and join our lifelong commitment to grow and participate in our active community.
