Since 2013, HackSC has brought together hundreds of passionate tech enthusiasts from colleges all across North America to collaborate, innovate, and tackle real-world challenges.
What is a hackathon? Each fall, we host our flagship 24-hour hackathon: a team-based coding and prototyping competition where 300+ students and industry professionals come together for hands-on workshops, speaker panels, and nonstop coding across multiple tracks.
With your support, we’re building more than just a hackathon—we’re amplifying creativity, fostering culture, and equipping tomorrow’s tech leaders with the skills and connections they need. Funds will help underwrite venue rental, meals, technical support, and operational costs, ensuring every participant has what they need to launch groundbreaking projects. All RSOs are approved by the university and are student-run and student-led student. RSOs are affiliated with the university but not part of the university. All RSOs operate with open membership and any currently enrolled USC student may join. RSOs also operate within the university’s non-discrimination policy:
