The Dr. Allen and Charlotte Ginsburg Human-Centered Computation Hall (Ginsburg Hall)
is the home for computer science and the School of Advanced Computing at USC Viterbi. Opened in 2024, this seven-story, 116,000 square-foot building brings together USC’s computer science programs in a modern, collaborative environment designed to foster innovation in AI, robotics, machine learning, and ethical computing. Ginsburg Hall features flexible research labs, hands-on robotics and drone testing facilities, collaborative spaces, a 300 seat auditorium, and sustainability-focused design as USC’s first LEED Platinum, net-zero emissions building.

The building’s central amphitheater, creativity zones, and open labs encourage dynamic interaction among students, faculty, and researchers, inspiring new ideas and practical solutions to real-world problems.

Supporting Ginsburg Hall will empower USC Viterbi to advance cutting-edge research while providing students with transformative, hands-on learning experiences, mentorship opportunities, and the collaborative environment they need to become the next generation of innovators and leaders in computing and technology.
