USC Good Neighbors Campaign

For 30 years, the USC Good Neighbors Campaign has built a stronger, more vibrant city by expanding college access, promoting health and wellness, eliminating food insecurity, increasing access to the arts, community sustainability, and workforce training. Powered by the generosity of USC faculty and staff, this initiative has invested over $31 million into 1,100+ grants.

Our impact is greatest when we all give together; 100% of every contribution directly supports programs surrounding the University Park and Health Sciences campuses.

Your Impact in Action

Launching Bold Futures

Your support fuels educational journeys for hundreds of K-12 students through innovative, hands-on learning programs at USC’s campuses. Faculty and staff lead innovative programs, like Med-COR, Expanding STARS’ summer research labs, and the Physician Assistant Pipeline Program, giving students hands-on experiences and exposure to diverse health career paths.

Mentorship-driven projects like Boyle Heights Beat inspire youth to dream big through journalism and self-expression, laying the foundation for college success. Investing in education is not just about opening doors, it helps students walk through them with purpose and the power to shape their futures.

Growing Green and Growing Strong

We are committed to transforming local neighborhoods into hubs of sustainability and creativity. Programs like Community Services Unlimited, Inc.’s South Central Growers and Harvesters Network are actively creating urban agriculture micro-enterprises that increase economic security, mobility, and enhance access to quality, organic produce for residents.

LA Commons’ Youth Artists as Civic Leaders increases civic leadership and knowledge among local youth on environmental consciousness and climate change, turning knowledge into action. Arts-based initiatives, range from murals to live performances blending our community’s creative expression and social involvement.

A Healthier Tomorrow Starts Today

The health and well-being of our communities are a leading priority.

With your help, programs like the Salud Pa Ti/Health for You Program and Wellnest’s Early Intervention and Community Wellness Program are ensuring critical health resources and mental health support for youth and families.

The USC Neighborhood Mobile Dental Van Prevention Program brings preventive treatment to hundreds of elementary students, contributing to their academic success through increased concentration, attendance, and higher grades. Starting with confident smiles, together we are closing critical care gaps for families across Los Angeles.

Where Creativity Takes the Lead

Every year, over 200 students unlock their imagination and leadership through initiatives like the 24th Street Theatre’s educational arts program. On our very own University Park Campus, Kaufman Connections volunteers introduce the art of dance to elementary school students, and Jazz Hands for Autism strengthens social-emotional learning and cognitive skills while sparking creativity. Setting the stage for students to thrive in and out of school, your contributions turn inspiration into lifelong tools for success.

Fueling a Community of Care

We partner with local organizations like FEAST’s Family Feeding Program and Share a Meal provide fresh produce, hot meals, and weekly grocery deliveries to households in need. Through Community Services Unlimited’s GROW program, we are planting seeds for lasting change–transforming urban environments into thriving gardens that feed families and strengthen community bonds.

Focusing on student success, Trojan Shelter provides transitional housing and comprehensive support for to unhoused college students, equipping them with the resources and stability needed to achieve academic success.
